On Saturday, two adults and five children were rushed to three different hospitals following a major accident when the minivan in which they were traveling flipped over off of Interstate 25 near Fort Collins. Most seriously wounded was a 3-year-old girl who was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Aurora. One of the adults who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the vehicle.

In the wake of unemployment rates seeing their lowest rates in over 2 ½ years, Wall Street in turn had its own best week since mid-2009. While stocks dipped a bit on Friday, the overall week was way up, and overall indices remained steady. The Dow ended the week up seven percent. The S&P 500 was up 7.4 percent.
